Megan is a speech-language pathologist at our Kensington, MD branch.  She earned her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Radford University and her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at Penn State University.  Megan has worked at different private practices and provided early intervention services in the DMV area before beginning at Express Yourself in July 2022.

Megan enjoys being playful and creative to establish positive rapport with each individual client.  She finds joy in following a child’s lead during play and observing the functional, meaningful interactions this provides.  She has particular interest in pediatric feeding disorders and speech sound disorders but is also thrilled to be establishing herself as a DIRFloortime® practitioner.  She has basic training in Dynamic Tactile and Temporal Cueing (DTTC) which is a motor-based intervention for Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

In her free time, Megan enjoys baking, exploring all the DMV has to offer (especially any and all ice cream shops), and spending time with her two nephews in PA!
