PHYSICAL THERAPY

When it comes to your child’s development, every milestone matters. At Express Yourself Therapy our skilled Physical Therapists, meet your infants, toddlers, and kids exactly where they are at, supporting them through play, connection, and movement. Whether your child is experiencing a motor delay, recovering from an injury, or simply needs a little extra help building strength and confidence, we’re here to help them thrive!

Who do we treat?

We serve infants-adulancents! Infants with; torticollis, plagiocephaly (flat head), motor delays (rolling, sitting, crawling), and prematurity or NICU follow-up needs. Toddlers & Preschoolers with; Toe walking, delayed walking or balance concerns, sensory-motor challenges, developmental delays impacting play and mobility.

School-Aged Children with; Coordination difficulties, strength and endurance challenges, sports injuries, gait abnormalities (in-toeing, out-toeing, flat feet), and neuromuscular or genetic conditions. Every child’s journey is unique, and our job is to help them reach their fullest potential both physically and emotionally!

How do we treat our clients?

We seek to treat all our clients at Express Yourself Therapy through following a play based, floor first, child lead philosophy. Children learn through movement, imagination, and exploration, so we bring therapy down to their level.

Floor Time Play Is Our Foundation!

Our treatment sessions focus on:

● Natural movement: Rolling, crawling, climbing, cruising, and jumping.

● Hands-on facilitation: Guiding proper movement patterns in a playful way. ● Toy-based motivation: Balls, tunnels, bubbles, balance toys, and pretend play.

● Parent involvement: You get to learn the techniques right along with your child! The floor is where kids feel most comfortable, and it gives us a chance to assess and practice real functional skills.

We make therapy feel like play! A child might think they are; reaching for bubbles, pushing a car up a ramp, pretending to be an animal, or building a block tower…but we are intentionally working on: strength, core stability, bilateral coordination, balance, gait mechanics, and visual-motor integration. The best part? Kids are engaged, happy, and eager to come back!

What Sets Us Apart?

● Personalized Plans: No two children are alike. Each child receives an individualized treatment plan tailored to their needs and which is adjusted regularly as they grow.

● Family-Centered Care: We teach parents how to support their child at home with simple, fun exercises that fit naturally into daily routines.

● Developmental Expertise: We stay up-to-date on best practices in pediatrics, using evidence-based techniques including: Neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), strength and resistance programs, functional movement training, sensory-motor integration, torticollis and plagiocephaly protocols.

● A Fun, Welcoming Environment: We want your child to feel comfortable, confident, and capable. Our clinic is filled with: colorful equipment, engaging toys, safe climbing structures, and spaces that inspire exploration. Why Early Intervention Matters For many families, therapy becomes a turning point.

Early treatment can: Improve motor milestones, prevent functional limitations later, support posture, alignment, and mobility, build confidence in daily activities, and make play, school, and sports more enjoyable!
